Review: Benefit Pump Up the Party Kit

I bought this lovely little set for just under £30 a week or two ago from the Benefit shop in Islington. I was a bit too excited to come across a whole shop dedicated to Benefit, as the most I've ever really seen in one place is the stand in the Wood Green branch of Boots, and it's one of those brands that's delightfully luxurious and whatnot. So I ran right in and was having a good look around, mostly at the High Beam, wanting to buy it, but the stuff is really expensive! So I allowed myself to be talked into buying this set that includes a smaller sized bottle of it instead, and am glad I did.

I've pretty much been doing my whole face with this set since then, just adding my Doublewear foundation to sort my skin out. I have noticed that it wears a whole lot better when I use the Porefessional underneath. I do love my Doublewear, although it can get a little flakey and settle into the lines around my eyes, but this stuff sorts that out nicely (it might look like it's a little pigmented in the swatch below, but it blends away and doesn't look that colour when you apply it). Everything in this set is really good :) I'm very pleased, I might buy some more of these kits, because I usually can't justify spending the same amount of money on one full sized product as this whole set cost, but this way I get to try out loads of the products I usually just want and never buy. Plus the sizes are pretty decent. They have an advent calendar I have my eye on for Christmas, which looks amazing... Oh yeah, and I will review the Roller Lash mascara separately soon, as swatching it on my arm would have been a bit pointless :)
